Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Weekend shifts only: Saturday and Sunday
- Shift options:
- 24 hours total (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- 32 hours total (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM) if additional hours desired
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in outpatient settings
- Knowledge and experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging
Required Immunizations and Health Documents
- Flu vaccine required annually (medical/religious exemptions are strictly limited and require approval)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional documentation if history of TB)
- Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Tdap vaccine within last 10 years preferred
- Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform job duties without accommodations and free from communicable disease
- N95 fit test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed)
- Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to and during assignment
- Education verification of highest degree required by position
- I9/E-Verify attestation required prior to start
- Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
- Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
- Skills checklist completed prior to start and updated annually
Orientation and Facility Requirements
- Weekly orientation with ASAP start date
- Completion of facility-specific modules (SITELS) prior to start date
- Clear photo for badge with specific photo requirements (face centered, no glare, solid background)
- Annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual
Additional Notes
- Valid driver’s license required if driving is an essential job function
- Facility requires annual flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Must meet all facility-specific health and safety requirements to maintain clearance
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with solid experience in adult acute and outpatient care, proficient in multiple imaging platforms, and able to work weekend day shifts in a fast-paced environment.
