CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (X-ray and CT)
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (works alone after 9:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Dual modality role performing both X-ray and CT imaging.
• Evening and night shifts with independent work after 9:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.

Experience

• Minimum years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty: Not explicitly stated (default to standard for CT Tech if known; otherwise, confirm with recruiter).
• No prior travel experience explicitly required.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start.

  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks.

• Immunizations or titers within 10 years for:

  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination)
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or accepted declination during flu season (10/1/2024 – 4/1/2025).
• References: 2 professional references for travel/allied/per diem acute care within 3 years.
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.

Facility-Specific Requirements (Must Complete Prior to Start)

• Orientation checklist, pandemic attestation, code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, disclosure statement, and employment handbook acknowledgment.
• Facility-specific photo for badge.
• Various training and competency assessments related to patient care and safety (e.g., cardiac procedure education, skin integrity, mobility, catheter training) as applicable.
• Competency assessment forms to be brought to orientation and submitted to unit leader.

Additional Notes

• Facility will provide first week’s schedule and direct contact within 48 hours of start date.
• Must be able to work independently during late night hours.
