Description

CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Laredo, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Schedule Details:

Floating required
Call required
Block scheduling possible

Job Description

Provide timely diagnostic CT services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Conduct routine diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Registered Technologist in Radiology (ARRT) certification
Current BLS certification

Additional Information

Uniform: Navy blue scrubs.
EMR system used: Cerner.
Facility bed size: 9 beds.
