CT Technologist
Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (overnight)

Job Description
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
- Ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead.
- Use EMR systems (Epic, Visage) for documentation.
- Administer IV and oral/GI contrast.
- Respond effectively in emergencies.
- Operate GE CT scanners (experience preferred but not required).
- Rotating shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Required Onboarding Credentials and Health Requirements
- BLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- Primary Source Verification: Professional license/certification verification within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
- Immunizations and Tests:
- MMR: Documentation of vaccines or proof of immunity.
- TB Test: Negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Criminal Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Massachusetts CORI check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break.
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date and annually.
- Additional Professional Requirements:
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for extensions.
- Education verification through background check company.
- SSN trace as part of criminal background check.
Preferred (Optional)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred).
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred).
- Documentation of chest x-ray if positive TB test.
- Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation.
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
- GE CT scanner experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Rotating shifts may be required beyond the scheduled weekend overnight shifts.
