Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Shift: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday to Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position involves working in Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
  • Locals allowed at the same rate.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year.

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • Criminal background check within 60 days of start, covering all states lived/worked in past 7 years, including statewide and nationwide repositories.
  • Virginia State Police fingerprinting required for certain units; results may pend but proof of submission must be on file.
  • Central Registry (CPS) search and submission required within 48 hours of contract signing for specified units; candidates may start with results pending if submission proof is provided.
  • Various federal exclusion lists (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG) must be cleared within 30 days of start.
  • Education verification required; diploma or transcript accepted.

Orientation and Facility Specifics

  • Orientation includes exams/tests such as Pharmacology Exam, Point of Care Testing, Airborne Precaution Mask Fitting, and Basic Knowledge Assessment Tool (BKAT) for applicable units.
  • Candidates will be assigned learning modules during orientation to be completed within the orientation week (~6 hours).
  • Candidates must bring a mask (cloth acceptable), non-wireless headphones, and a laptop or cell phone (notify if not available).

Additional Notes

  • Certifications expiring within 1 month of contract start will not be accepted; no onsite renewals offered. Renewals must be scheduled prior to start.
  • Candidates must upload all required documents with appropriate expiration dates as specified.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
