CT Technologist
Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Job Description
- Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging focused on pediatric and women’s health populations.
- Operate GE CT scanners and Shimadzu X-ray systems to produce accurate diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established radiation safety protocols.
- Use Epic for documentation and workflow management; utilize Visage PACS for image review.
- Deliver patient-centered care using the AIDET communication framework.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
- Maintain competency in pediatric imaging.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support both CT and X-ray services as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT certification
