Description

CT Technologist

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Description

Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging focused on pediatric and women’s health populations.
Operate GE CT scanners and Shimadzu X-ray systems to produce accurate diagnostic images.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established radiation safety protocols.
Use Epic for documentation and workflow management; utilize Visage PACS for image review.
Deliver patient-centered care using the AIDET communication framework.
Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
Maintain competency in pediatric imaging.
Demonstrate flexibility to support both CT and X-ray services as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARRT certification
