Description

Registered Nurse – Home Health

Location: Meridian, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Overview

Provide home health nursing care within the Treasure Valley region.
Manage 5-6 routine patient visits per day.
Travel time between patient visits is typically kept to 15-20 minutes by assigning clinicians to tight geographical areas.
Weekend on-call rotation and evening availability required.
Documentation primarily done using EPIC Remote Client; issued laptop and phone provided.
Orientation includes starting and ending the day in the office paired with a preceptor; after orientation, nurses may start and end their day at home.
Patient appointment cancellations are managed by pulling visits forward to maintain a full schedule.
Overtime availability offered.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Minimum of 5 years of home health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in a home health setting

Additional Information

No point system for visits.
The role involves some weekend and evening on-call duties.
Technology transition underway from EPIC to Rover (potential use of iPad or computer).
