Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Schedule includes taking call one weeknight per week and weekend call approximately every 8-10 weeks
Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
Must be an experienced travel nurse

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Experience

Must be an experienced travel nurse (prior travel experience required)

Health and Safety Requirements

Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Measles (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Mumps (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or signed declination)

Additional Notes

Orientation includes up to 16 hours of non-billable time, with up to 12 hours allowed for completing required modules
Performance evaluations are required annually and the most recent evaluation must be provided
Missouri-specific background checks and registry verifications are required and must be kept current

This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with PACU experience who is comfortable with travel assignments, call responsibilities, and working a 4x10 day shift schedule.
