Job Opportunity: Hospital/ER Day Nurse
Location: Baker, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 to 4 twelve-hour shifts)
Facility Overview
- Critical Access Hospital with 25 total beds
- Two Emergency Room bays
- 5 acute care or skilled care beds staffed by one nurse
- Long Term Care unit with up to 20 residents staffed by a dedicated LTC nurse
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on the Acute Care/ER side
- Work primarily in the Emergency Room and acute care areas
- Day shift coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
- Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
- Full-time availability during day shifts with flexibility for 3 to 4 shifts per week
