Certified CT Technologist - Boston, Massachusetts
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule: Every other weekend 12-hour shifts, plus three 8-hour evening shifts during the week (36 hours per week)
- Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center
- Equipment: Mix of GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Electronic Health Record: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts
- CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Health and Safety Requirements
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date; must be completed prior to start and updated annually. No exemptions allowed.
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
- Immunizations and Testing:
- MMR: Documentation of vaccination or proof of immunity required
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if break >6 months
- Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date; updated if break >6 months
- Optional but Preferred:
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years
- Additional Health Documentation:
- Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation (optional)
- TB symptom survey if positive PPD (optional)
Professional Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
- Massachusetts CORI check within 30 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
- Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- References: Two references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
- Skills Checklist: Must be completed within 1 year of submission
- Education Verification: Verified through background check company for highest level achieved
- Social Security Number Trace: Required with criminal background check
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions
Additional Notes
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing.
- Fit test updates can be done at select locations if assignment is extended.
- Name change documentation may be required if credentials do not match legal name.
- All required documentation must be uploaded and verified prior to onboarding.
