Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

City: Massena, New York

Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

Day shift, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (3 shifts per week)
12-hour shifts
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients on all shifts
Return to Office (RTO) requirement: maximum 7 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Certifications required at start:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Skills and clinical experience in:
- Management of dysrhythmias
- IV vasopressors administration and maintenance
- Procedural sedation administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
