Description
Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Job Description
- Work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements.
- Call and every third weekend required.
- Charting system: Epic.
- Special Procedures include:
- LHC Diagnostic/Intervention
- RHC
- Pericardiocentesis
- Cardiomems
- Impella, IABP insertion
- TAVR
- Mitral Clips, PFO
- AICD placement, PPM
- EPS, Ablation, LAAC
- Neuro Procedures: Cerebral Angio, Carotid Angio, Angioplasty, Stenting, Embolization, Thrombolysis, Thrombectomy
Required Experience and Certifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Jersey.
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
