Operating Room Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (22:45 - 7:15)
• Schedule Requirements:

  • On-call with 30-minute response required
  • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • Floating as needed
• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Onboarding & Compliance

• Completion of facility-specific documents including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Commitment to Health & Wellness
  • Non-Employee Affidavit
  • Hepatitis B declination form (if applicable)
• Photo for badge: professional, passport-style headshot required
• Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules on PC/laptop prior to start (not accessible via cell phone)
• New Hire Orientation required by end of first day
• Pass/fail competency exams including Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 72 hours of contract signing
• Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Notes

• Candidate will undergo a clinical pre-screen and manager interview before final approval
• Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
• Local rate adjustments apply (not disclosed here)

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses comfortable with night shifts, on-call responsibilities, and working in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
