Registered Nurse – Wound Care (Travel/Contract)
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide skilled nursing care in an outpatient wound care clinic.
- Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, dressing changes, patient education, and care coordination for acute and chronic wounds.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to promote healing, patient safety, and high-quality compassionate care.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of wound care experience, with wound care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
