Job Responsibilities

• Explain scanning procedures to patients, answer questions, review medical histories, and verify physician orders.
• Calibrate, warm up, and operate specialized CT scanning equipment following safety protocols.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and safely administer oral or intravenous (IV) contrast materials.
• Position patients correctly on the scanner table and apply radiation shielding techniques to minimize exposure (ALARA principles).
• Review, analyze, and optimize digital images for clarity and accuracy before sending to radiologists.
• Maintain and update patient charts and procedural details in electronic health records and PACS systems.
• Perform both CT and X-ray imaging as part of duties.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).

• Note: This position involves night shifts with 12-hour workdays.
