Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Job Summary

• Provide independent nursing care under general guidance, following unit-specific policies and protocols.
• Utilize critical thinking, time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain emotional stability in emergency settings.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days allowed. RTO requests after submission or during interview will not be approved.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current American Heart Association certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ED Triage and Cardiac Room (preferred and will receive first consideration).
• IV Certification.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system.
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certifications.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Additional Information

• Candidates must include at least two specific interview dates/times of availability; "anytime" is not accepted.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• All scheduling requests, including time off, must be made at the time of submission; no changes allowed after offer or during interview.
• Must have a Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) to be considered for this temporary assignment.
