Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Location

New Haven, Connecticut
Will float between 4 nearby medical sites within 15 minutes of each other

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (primary shift)
Additional shift 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
Every other Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (if scheduled, a weekday off is provided)
Schedule posted one week in advance
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Required Experience and Certifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
Prior travel experience not accepted (first-timers not accepted)
Weekend work required
Must have ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) and ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certifications
Experience with Hologic equipment required
Pending state license accepted only if active prior to start date

Licensure

Active state license required prior to start
Pending license accepted but must be active before starting

Floating

Floating between sister facilities required as needed

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) certification
ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certification
