Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Location

  • New Haven, Connecticut
  • Will float between 4 nearby medical sites within 15 minutes of each other

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (primary shift)
  • Additional shift 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
  • Every other Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (if scheduled, a weekday off is provided)
  • Schedule posted one week in advance
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Required Experience and Certifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
  • Prior travel experience not accepted (first-timers not accepted)
  • Weekend work required
  • Must have ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) and ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certifications
  • Experience with Hologic equipment required
  • Pending state license accepted only if active prior to start date

Licensure

  • Active state license required prior to start
  • Pending license accepted but must be active before starting

Floating

  • Floating between sister facilities required as needed

Required Qualifications & Certifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) certification
  • ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certification
