Description
Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General
Location
- New Haven, Connecticut
- Will float between 4 nearby medical sites within 15 minutes of each other
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (primary shift)
- Additional shift 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
- Every other Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (if scheduled, a weekday off is provided)
- Schedule posted one week in advance
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
Required Experience and Certifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
- Prior travel experience not accepted (first-timers not accepted)
- Weekend work required
- Must have ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) and ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certifications
- Experience with Hologic equipment required
- Pending state license accepted only if active prior to start date
Licensure
- Active state license required prior to start
- Pending license accepted but must be active before starting
Floating
- Floating between sister facilities required as needed
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) certification
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certification
