Description

Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center operating room with 41 ORs.
Shift: Mids (10:45 AM to 11:15 PM), 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
Weekend work required as per unit needs.
Occasional float to early shifts (06:45 AM and 08:45 AM starts) and float between other OR units within the facility.
No on-call requirements.
Patient ratio: 1:1.
Types of cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery.
Guaranteed hours: No.
Return to Office (RTO) days max: 10 days, with blackout periods during late June to early July, early September, and late October to early November 2026.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
