Description

Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Bend, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

  • Full labor and delivery experience required, including postpartum care.
  • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
  • Minimum weekend coverage: every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts during the contract.
  • Floating within scope required: may float to a low-risk family birthing unit at a nearby campus.
  • No on-call duties.
  • Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oregon
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including experience within the last year
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • AWHONN Intermediate certification
  • FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Additional Information

  • First-time travel nurses are welcome.
  • Pending licenses are not accepted.
  • Return-to-Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days.
