Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Telemetry

Biddeford, Maine

Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Shifts: 06:45–19:15 and 18:45–07:15
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Vary
Call requirement: 2 twelve-hour call shifts during the 13-week contract

Unit Information

Unit type: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Number of beds: 56
Patient ratios:
- Days: 1 RN to 4-5 patients
- Nights: 1 RN to 5-6 patients
Electronic Medical Record system: Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience (minimum 2 years), with experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS certification

Job Responsibilities & Expectations

Float to other medical-surgical units as needed
Care for general medical-surgical telemetry patients
Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic

Dress Code

Scrubs of any color, clean and professional
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, graphic shirts, and open shoes
