NICU Transport Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Tampa, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:00 - 6:00)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level II Adult Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma
Total Staffed Beds: 615
Job Description
- Provide neonatal and pediatric transport nursing care via helicopter and ambulance.
- Requires experience with NICU/PEDS transport and helicopter/ambulance transport.
- Weekend work required: 6 weekends per 6-week schedule.
- First-time travel nurses accepted.
- Locals are not accepted for this position.
- No pending licenses accepted.
- No Return to Origin (RTO) restrictions in contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
