Description

NICU Transport Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Tampa, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:00 - 6:00)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level II Adult Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma
Total Staffed Beds: 615


Job Description

  • Provide neonatal and pediatric transport nursing care via helicopter and ambulance.
  • Requires experience with NICU/PEDS transport and helicopter/ambulance transport.
  • Weekend work required: 6 weekends per 6-week schedule.
  • First-time travel nurses accepted.
  • Locals are not accepted for this position.
  • No pending licenses accepted.
  • No Return to Origin (RTO) restrictions in contract.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year
  • Experience in transport nursing, including helicopter and ambulance transport
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
