Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

36-hour rotating shifts based on department needs (not guaranteed)
Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Shift times: 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Work every other weekend and rotating holidays
Postpartum nursing experience is required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of postpartum nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not specified as required
Rotation schedule is subject to change based on department needs
All license and certification verifications must be completed and updated as required before onboarding
No religious or medical exemptions allowed for respirator fit testing
Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (optional but recommended)

This position is ideal for experienced postpartum RNs seeking a rotating shift schedule in a hospital setting with a 13-week contract.
