Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Replacement position covering midnight shifts with rotating weekends
- Adult and Geriatric patient population
- Unit has 8 rooms with a 1:2 tech-to-patient ratio
- Experience with CT imaging equipment from GE, PAC, and Siemens preferred
- First-time travel techs and local candidates are welcome
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification in CT required
- Experience with GE Healthcare CT imaging equipment
- Current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA only (no certificates of completion or RQI cards accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA only (no certificates of completion or RQI cards accepted)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA only, if applicable to unit
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification if applicable
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (specific approved masks required)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; if past positive TB, clear chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunization or positive titer documentation for: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (boosters required if titers are negative or equivocal)
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (11/1–3/31) with no exemptions allowed
Additional Requirements
- Must complete facility-specific orientation paperwork within 3 weeks of start
- Pass/fail competency testing (EKG/medication) required for certain units, including Telemetry and ICU units
- Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG clearance required prior to start and updated annually
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Facility-specific confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, sexual harassment, and misconduct policy attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- ID management system onboarding required before starting assignment
- Two recent professional references from managers or supervisors required (charge RN references not accepted)

- Candidates must maintain valid certifications throughout the assignment without any lapse
- Badge and pager return policies apply at assignment end to avoid fees
- Orientation includes essential paperwork and competency testing; failure to comply may result in removal from assignment
