Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Position Type: Float Pool (must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities)

Job Description

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Ability and willingness to float between departments and multiple facilities
• Patient-to-nurse ratio approximately 6:1

• Night shift with a 48-hour guarantee may be considered

This role is ideal for experienced MS/Telemetry RNs comfortable with float pool assignments and working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
