Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
Job Description
- Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures
- Prior CT experience required
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radiographer State License
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Experience with GE Healthcare CT scanners
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check completed within 1 year prior to start, including:
- Social Security trace
- County searches for last 7 years
- Nationwide criminal search
- Sex offender search
- OIG/SAM sanctions screening
- Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel urine drug screen within 90 days of start (marijuana tested, no medical marijuana exemptions)
- Physical exam within 2 years prior to start, indicating clearance to work without restrictions
- Respirator fit test documentation within 1 year of start (if applicable)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months of start
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required by specified deadlines
- Ohio-specific fingerprinting and background checks as applicable
Competency Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 2 years of start
- Unit-specific competency exam within 2 years of start
- Color blind testing (100% pass required; retake allowed once)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (if applicable)
Additional Requirements
- Must carry a valid driver’s license if job duties include driving
- Completion and signing of facility-specific agreements and policies prior to start
- Proof of auto insurance if driving is required
- Compliance with onsite fingerprinting requirements (if local)
- Completion of required documentation such as employment application and skills checklist
