Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) - Travel Assignment

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a pediatric inpatient setting.
Must be comfortable managing patients with high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy, gastrostomy tubes (G-tube), and jejunostomy tubes (J-tube).
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred.
Navy blue scrubs are required.
Use of EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatory.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system

Additional Information

Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible to apply as of 1/11/2024.
Floating to other units may be required.
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory.
