Registered Nurse - IV Therapy (Outpatient Infusion)

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday
7:45 AM to 4:30 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
No weekend or call requirements

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an outpatient infusion center (not vascular access)
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
Manage peripheral IVs and central line care
Administer medications and blood transfusions
Care for outpatient infusion patients with varying acuity and treatment lengths
Patient ratio ranges from 1:7 to 1:9 per day
Use IV pumps and Epic electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
Experience in an outpatient setting
ONS or ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
