Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Snellville, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

• Work with adult to geriatric patient population in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
• Procedures include diagnostic catheterization, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. No EP studies or ablations.
• Manage 3 rooms with 5 beds; average daily census 8-10 patients.
• Use Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge (preferred) systems.
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
• Scrub color provided by facility.
• Floating within department/facility and possibly to a sister campus.
• Call requirement: 10 call days per month.
• Weekend schedule: Every other weekend.
• Holiday work: Expected to work major holidays during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day).
• Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • One of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certification.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
