Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Cherokee, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Float Requirements: May float to MedSurg; potential cross-training to CCU and/or House Supervisor roles

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN or an RN with a strong interest in OB to join a supportive team focused on excellent patient care. The role involves primarily night shifts with some floating to MedSurg to ensure full hours. The environment is rural and team-oriented.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa
Current BLS Certification
ACLS Certification (current or to be obtained)
PALS Certification (current or to be obtained)
Mandatory Reporter certification (current or to be obtained)

Additional Information

Must have solid clinical skills and excellent customer service abilities
Ability and willingness to cross-train and float as needed
