Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM), Thursday through Saturday
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts (Thursday - Saturday)
  • Experience required: Minimum 1 year in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT CT certification
  • Experience working with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
  • Experience in Inpatient and Outpatient settings

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Social Security Card (required for badge issuance)
  • Background check within 60 days of start date covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including:
    • Social Security Trace with all aliases
    • National criminal search, federal court, sex offender registry, FACIS Level 3
    • Education verification (primary source)
    • International background checks if applicable
  • Foreign equivalency education evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S. (must be submitted within 30 days after start)
  • Transcript or diploma copy for highest education level (if applicable)
  • Education verification and High School Diploma/GED verification required for CT Techs
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
  • Immunizations and health documents:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B titer or declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
  • Fit mask test completed within current calendar year (N95 approved types)
  • Physical exam (if applicable)
  • Fingerprinting (if required by position) must be completed in North Carolina prior to start

Testing and Competency Exams

  • EPIC test (online) with passing score required unless exempted by specialty
  • Pass/fail Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for RNs (not applicable for CT Tech)
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Color vision test required (90% passing score)
  • Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal

References and Work History

  • Two supervisory references required from clinical assignments within the last 24 months (at least one within 12 months)
  • Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
  • Verification of all employment within the last 5 years through a third-party vendor

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Candidate must complete all compliance requirements by the deadline (12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date)
  • Badge photo must meet strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing) and be submitted prior to clearance
  • Candidate must review and sign facility-specific policies including floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgement
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
  • Prior travel experience is not required for this position
