Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
Rotating shifts including Days, Evenings, and Nights
Day rotation shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (rotation frequency low)
Night position does not rotate
Every Other Week (EOW) rotation

Unit Description

65-bed Emergency Department
Pod-based layout with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area
Patient census approximately 230 visits per day
Clinician to patient ratio: 1:4
Patient population: All ages

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
