Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry/Surgical Floor (Travel/Contract)

Location: Onancock, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Unit: 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a telemetry and surgical floor.
Work schedule options: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts.
Electronic health record system: EPIC required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, with telemetry experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
