CT Tech - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Elkhart, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Specialty in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Work schedule: 8-hour day shifts, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating on-call schedule among technologists
• Weekend on-call required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Specialty certification in Computed Tomography (CT)

Certifications (Additional Recommended)

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA provider/instructor/RQI acceptable
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA provider/instructor/RQI acceptable
• Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) as required

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam or statement of good health from a physician within 6 months of start
• Respirator Fit Test (N95) within 1 year of start
• Immunizations/vaccinations or titers as applicable:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
• Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination (mask required if declined)
• COVID vaccine or approved declination
