Description
CT Tech - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Elkhart, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Specialty in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Work schedule: 8-hour day shifts, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Rotating on-call schedule among technologists
- Weekend on-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Specialty certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Certifications (Additional Recommended)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA provider/instructor/RQI acceptable
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA provider/instructor/RQI acceptable
- Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) as required

- Bioterrorism Preparedness Program and Plan
- Handbook Acknowledgment
- Confidentiality Statement

- Abuse Acknowledgment
- PPE and Mask Policy
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam or statement of good health from a physician within 6 months of start
- Respirator Fit Test (N95) within 1 year of start
- Immunizations/vaccinations or titers as applicable:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
- Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination (mask required if declined)
- COVID vaccine or approved declination
