Description
CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Weston, Florida
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Details
- Work Schedule: Alternating shifts of 4x10 hours
- Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Day shift: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- On-call requirement: Up to 4 days per month
- Hours per week: 40
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Proof of I9 or attestation
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- E-Verify proof or attestation
- Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
- Education verification (primary source)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no annual update required)
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually; TB questionnaire required if past positive
- Immunizations or titers required:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
- Seasonal influenza vaccination required during flu season (10/31–3/31); medical/religious exemptions allowed with proper documentation
- COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required; no declinations allowed; boosters not required currently; medical/religious exemptions require agency-approved documentation and facility exemption form
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results required
Orientation and Training
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; video must be watched before test)
- Facility-specific COVID-19 exemption form required if applicable
- Competency exam required as applicable to specialty
- Radiation badge issued by facility as needed
References and History
- Two professional references within 2 years required for travel allied positions
