Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- Weekend Requirement: No weekends required
- On-Call: No on-call required
- Floating: Floating within scope to meet facility needs allowed; no floating to sister facilities
- Local Radius Rule: Candidates must be outside a 75-mile radius (no locals accepted)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Daily Caseload: Typical for CT Tech role (not specified)
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
- General Skills Preferred: IV starts, portable imaging, biopsies
- CT Procedure Experience Preferred: Aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 6 months, including statewide and nationwide searches
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG quarterly checks
- State-specific searches and registries as applicable
- Education Verification: Highest related education must be verified before start
- Professional License Verification: Primary source verification required; Missouri licenses verified via NURSYS
- Drug Testing: Required within 1 year of start, must include standard drug panels, updated annually
- Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and Health Screenings:
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within required timeframes
- Tdap vaccine or declination required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella immunity or vaccination required (with exceptions for certain units)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Fit Mask Testing: Annual N95 fit testing required
- Other Facility-Specific Documents:
- HIPAA Acknowledgement
- Latex Allergy Questionnaire
- Confidentiality Form
- Regulatory Compliance Education (annual quiz with 80% passing score)
- Hand Hygiene and Fingernail Policies acknowledgment
- Dress Code Policy acknowledgment
- Orientation modules completion (approx. 16 hours) required for RNs and LVNs (not required for allied health professionals)
- Badge photo and facility badge required
Additional Notes
- No weekend or call requirements
- No floating to sister facilities
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions: No more than 7 days off within the 13-week contract
- Candidates must be prepared to work in a high-complexity environment with trauma cases
- Parking is available with monthly fees; no reimbursement for parking costs
- Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)
- Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists required within 1 year of start
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT CT certification, and comfort working in a high-acuity, trauma-focused hospital setting using Siemens scanners. First-time travel candidates are welcome.
