Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Victoria, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5x8 hours)
• On-call: Every other week (7 days on, 7 days off)
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Prior experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background check within 1 year of start, including SS trace, county searches (7 years), nationwide, and sex offender registry
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Texas-specific employability status and employee misconduct registry checks within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot within 30 days of start; chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity (or declination if allowed):

  • TDAP (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola) – 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Mumps – 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Rubella – 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B – positive titer, series of 3, or declination
  • Varicella – 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant acceptable)
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1–3/31)
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination
• Required facility-specific documents to review and sign prior to start (e.g., confidentiality agreements, contract worksheets, code of conduct)
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment, updated annually

Additional Notes

• Start date preferred within the next 3-5 weeks
• Candidate must review and complete all required facility-specific forms and agreements before starting
• Must have a plan to complete drug testing within the facility-required timeframe (usually within 72 hours of contract signing)

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Techs with prior travel contract experience who hold the necessary certifications and licenses, and who can comply with comprehensive health, background, and facility-specific requirements.
