Wound Care Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
• Facility Type: Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, Level 3 Trauma
• Total Staffed Beds: 317
• Charting System: Epic (Excellian)
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: No floating within scope
• Block Schedule: Accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 100-mile radius
• Pending License: Accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days off
• Epic experience: Required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of wound care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN)
• Experience with Epic charting system

Additional Information

• Parking: First day free parking in Blue Ramp; subsequent day/evening shifts require paid parking ($16.67 or $27.10 per 2 weeks depending on lot)
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty; on-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum
• References: Not required for client clearance and will not delay start
• Drug Testing: Not required for client clearance; 9-panel acceptable if done within 1 year
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
