Job Description

  • Multispecialty Ultrasound Tech/Echo Tech role requiring experience in:
    • General ultrasound
    • Fetal ultrasound
    • OB (Obstetrics)
    • Breast ultrasound
    • Transvaginal ultrasound
    • Vascular ultrasound
    • Echocardiogram (adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill)
  • No floating between units
  • On-call required:
    • Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
    • Weekends: 24 hours on-call
  • Weekends on-call required
  • Expected patient ratio: 8:1
  • Block schedules not required

Shift Details

  • Day shift
  • 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
  • Experience in Fetal Echocardiography
  • Experience as a Breast Sonographer
  • Experience in Adult Echocardiography

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Ultrasound Tech)
  • Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; must have comprehensive multispecialty ultrasound and echocardiography experience as detailed

  • Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
  • Fit mask testing required for travel candidates, updated annually

References and Employment History

  • Minimum of 2 references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates
  • Work history verification may be required if exceptions to references are requested

Additional Requirements

  • Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required prior to start
  • Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
  • Compliance with facility-specific policies including float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)
  • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable

Notes

  • On-call and weekend availability is mandatory
  • No block scheduling
  • Must be able to work in a Level IV Trauma Center environment with a patient ratio of 8:1
  • This position does not float between units
