Job Description

• Provide leadership and follow-up during critical events such as code blue, code red, and code 100.
• Respond immediately to critical events.
• Adjust and evaluate staffing levels continuously to ensure the highest level of patient care for current and upcoming shifts.
• Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff.
• Provide clinical consultation, advice, and education to staff.
• Assist staff with problem-solving and conflict resolution (staff/physician, patient/physician, staff/staff).
• Mediate conflicts and communicate situations appropriately.
• Advocate for patients, families, and staff, supporting patient rights.
• Support other departments to meet patient needs and maintain operations during non-operating hours.
• Complete all employee performance evaluations by due dates.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of House Supervisor experience, with experience within the last year.
• Experience in leadership roles.
• Acute care experience.

Physical Requirements

• Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or negligible force constantly to move objects.
• Frequent reaching and handling with hands and arms.

Shift Details

• 20 to 22 hours per week, varying shifts.
• Work schedule includes every 3rd weekend and holiday.
• Work week runs Monday through Sunday.
