Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (day shift: every other weekend Saturday and Sunday)
• Float: No floating outside scope of practice
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Radius Rule: Candidates must be outside a 75-mile radius (no locals accepted)
• Pending License: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED), with at least some experience within the last year
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ENPC or PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires a minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience, multiple current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and compliance with extensive background, health, and facility-specific requirements. The position offers day shifts with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and requires weekend coverage every third weekend. Candidates must be outside a 75-mile local radius and have a valid Missouri RN license or pending license accepted.
