Description
Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Snellville, Georgia
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Summary
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Work Setting: 3 rooms with 5 beds; average daily census 8-10 patients
- Floating: Within department and facility; possible float to sister campus
- Call Requirement: 10 call days per month
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Work 1-2 major holidays if they fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- One of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Additional Information
- Scrub color provided by facility
- Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
- Orientation hours vary based on contract length
- Locals accepted at same rate
- Clinical screening required to determine fit before final manager decision
This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Techs with required certifications and skills, ready to work in a fast-paced adult cardiology environment with advanced cardiac procedures.
