Job Description

• Work in Vascular Operating Room as a Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday through Friday (36 hours/week)
• On-call required: 6-8 calls per month, including weekends
• Holiday call may be required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases
• Common procedures include: Endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, AV Fistula, and others

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements & Information

• Local radius rule: 60 miles
• Locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Facility may call off traveler for 1 shift per 2 weeks (pay period)
• Background check required within 1 year, including multiple searches (SSN trace, criminal, sex offender, national, etc.)
• Education verification required; diploma or transcripts may be accepted as placeholder
• Employment history verification of last 3 clinical employers required
• Annual TB questionnaire required
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands required, updated annually
• Radiation badge process may take 5-7 days; candidates cannot start without it
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Aug 1 – Mar 31); medical/religious exemptions accepted but no declinations
• Must complete all required facility-specific modules and upload vaccination records into the facility system before orientation
• Hurricane season (June-November) may require assignment to emergency response teams

Shift Details

• Day shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
