Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Job Description

• Work in a procedural area supporting neuro-interventional procedures such as neuro-angiograms.
• Administer procedural sedation, typically fentanyl and versed.
• Patient population ranges from outpatients to critical ICU patients.
• Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 06:00 PM).
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
• Expectation to work every 5th or 6th Saturday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM as needed.
• Once a week, may be required to stay past scheduled shift end to complete procedures (“Backup”).
• On-call requirements: Weeknight call every 1-2 weeks (1600-0730), plus weekend call Friday 1600 through Monday 0730 twice during the 13-week assignment.
• No floating outside scope of practice.
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
• Pending licenses accepted.
• Return-to-Office restrictions: No more than 7 days.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
