Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day or Night (3 shifts of 12 hours each; 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Dedicated home health position; work is performed in patients' homes, not at a facility.
Patient population primarily includes pediatric patients who are technology-dependent (tracheostomies and ventilators).
Requires experience managing medically complex patients.
Communication skills necessary to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum of 6 months (0.5 years) experience in Home Health, with Home Health experience within the last year
Experience in a Home Health setting
Experience in a Home Care setting
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience
