CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Redmond, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Work schedule: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (12:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Facility size: 35-bed hospital with a 14-bed Emergency Department
• Caseload: Floating between two campuses as needed; candidate must be agreeable to travel between locations (~75-mile radius)
• On-call required
• Must float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
• Common equipment: GE imaging systems, PACS
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered; candidate must have prior relevant experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) or ARRT Radiography certification
• BLS certification (AHA provider, instructor, or RQI accepted)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check (updated annually) including SSN trace, FACIS L3, DOJ sex offender search, education verification, and nationwide checks
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 90 days of start
• Primary source verification of state license
• Education verification with diploma or transcript on file
• Photo for badge (passport-style, solid background) required within 48 hours of signing
• Facility-specific agreements and confidentiality forms must be signed and on file within 48 hours of signing

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Immunizations/vaccinations:

  • TDAP within 10 years or declination accepted
  • Negative TB test (QGold within 1 year) or chest X-ray for positive responders
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster or declination accepted for low/equivocal titers)
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer required (vaccine series alone not accepted)
  • Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster or declination accepted)
• Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or agency declination/exemption required during flu season (masking required during high transmission)
• COVID vaccine preferred but not required; declination or exemption required if never vaccinated
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually

Additional Notes

• Locals within 75 miles radius accepted only with proof of address
• Return-to-Office (RTO) restrictions: maximum 7 total days in the 13-week assignment
• Skills checklist and competency exams required annually as applicable by specialty

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists comfortable with floating between campuses, performing advanced imaging procedures, and meeting comprehensive compliance and health requirements.
