Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (Monday - Thursday, 4x9 hours, 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work schedule: 4 nights per week, 9-hour shifts (4:00 PM to 1:30 AM), Monday through Thursday.
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required; experience with neonates and infants preferred.
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, emergency department (ED), and intensive care unit (ICU) settings required; NICU and PICU experience preferred.
- Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and contrast administration required.
- Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required.

Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography) certification
- Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Experience with contrast administration
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card for badge issuance.
- Background check within 60 days of start date covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years, including aliases, social security trace, national criminal search, federal court, sex offender registry, and education verification.
- Foreign equivalency education evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S.
- Transcript or diploma may be required for education verification.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start.
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B titer or declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season.
- Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year (N95 respirators approved).
- Physical exam if applicable (not required for this position unless specified).
- Fingerprinting required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions (not applicable here).
Testing and Competency
- Pass/fail EPIC test required (2 attempts allowed; 3rd attempt requires manager approval).
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam not required for this position.
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required.
- Acknowledgment of pass/fail testing required for EPIC or Dysrhythmia/EKG testing (if applicable).
References and Work History
- Two supervisory references required from clinical assignments:
- One reference from an assignment within 12 months prior to start.
- One reference from an assignment within 24 months prior to start.
- Employment application/resume with 7 years of work history required.
- Verification of all employment within the last 5 years required through a third-party vendor.
Additional Facility Requirements
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
- Badge photo must meet strict facility requirements (no selfies, no hats, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing).
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific policies including floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment.
- Completion of health history form and upload prior to clearance.
- Completion of onboarding tasks including Workday login and multi-factor authentication setup before arrival.
Summary
This is a 13-week travel contract for a CT Technologist working night shifts in Greensboro, NC. The role requires at least 1 year of CT experience, BLS and ARRT CT certifications, and experience across multiple patient age groups and care settings. Candidates must comply with extensive background checks, immunization, and competency testing requirements. First-time travelers are welcome.
