Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening (4x9 hours), 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (Thursday to Sunday)
  • Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required; experience with neonates and infants preferred
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
  • Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
  • Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • Certification: ARRT (CT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings

Compliance and Testing

  • EPIC test required with passing score (80% or higher), 2 attempts allowed; additional attempts require manager approval
  • Pass/fail Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required (82% or higher), 2 attempts allowed with remediation after first attempt
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable, must score 80% or higher
  • Color vision test required (90% or higher)
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required
  • Acknowledgment of pass/fail testing policies required

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Compliance documents must be completed by the deadline prior to start date
  • Background check must be clear of any open hits; facility reviews all hits on background checks
  • Foreign equivalency evaluation required if education was obtained outside the U.S.
  • Fingerprinting required only for certain positions (not applicable for CT Tech)
  • Workday login and onboarding tasks must be completed prior to arrival
  • Facility requires strict adherence to all credentialing and compliance requirements for clearance
