Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4x10 hours)
Hours: Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (40 hours/week)

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging with expertise in adult acute care and outpatient settings.
• Experience with imaging equipment including GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba.
• Proficient in imaging Abdomen, Chest, and Head with and without contrast.
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs.
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
• ARRT Registered Technologist (R)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in outpatient settings
• Ability to start peripheral IVs
• Experience in preparation and/or administration of contrast media

Orientation & Start Date

• Weekly orientation available.
• ASAP start dates available (e.g., 7/13, 7/20).

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid driver's license required if driving is an essential job function.
• Complete I9/E-Verify attestation prior to start.
• Criminal background check within 90 days, including multi-state and federal searches.
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana).
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform job duties without accommodations.
• Immunization and health documentation required:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.
  • Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella immunity or vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season.
• N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed).

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start.
• Skills checklist and competency exams required prior to start and updated annually.
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam with minimum passing score of 80%.
• Color blindness testing (online or in-person).
• Work history verification covering at least 2 years within the past 7 years.
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information.

Skills & Competencies

• Adult acute care and outpatient imaging.
• Use of multiple CT imaging platforms and PACS systems.
• Contrast media preparation and administration.
• Peripheral IV insertion.
• Musculoskeletal trauma imaging.

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with solid experience, prior travel assignment completion, and the ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment.
