Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3x12 hours) from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Position is for a CT Technologist working night shifts.
- On nights, only one CT Tech is on duty, supported by a CT assistant who helps with transporting, patient transfers, and room turnover.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Preference for candidates with 2 years of experience; 1 year of experience may be considered if from trauma or high acuity centers.
- Voluntary on-call availability appreciated but not required.
- Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must have a minimum 3-month separation to qualify for this travel position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Washington State.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year required.
- Experience in a high acuity center.
- Certifications required:
- ARRT Radiography (R)
- ARRT CT
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Documents & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card (as applicable).
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education verification required.
- WA State Patrol Search (WSP/WATCH) within 90 days of start.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating fitness to work.
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years or signed declination.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months; annual updates required.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or signed declination.
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start.
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates.
- WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses Demographic Attestation (if applicable).
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS.
- Skills checklist updated annually (if applicable).
Additional Notes
- Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities.
- Badge photo not required for this specific facility.
- Onsite fit mask testing required unless a valid record is on file.
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
- References and employment history must be verifiable and meet specified timeframes.
- Background checks will disqualify candidates with open/active felony cases or multiple DUI charges.
