Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and call rotation (approximately one 12-hour call shift every 6 weeks)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Join the Labor & Delivery (L&D) team providing care in Family Birth Place with anticipated high birth volume (approximately 60 deliveries per month).
Provide couplet care including L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum.
Care for babies born at 32 weeks gestation and older.
Work within a team focused on evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum of 4 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Postpartum experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE certification
Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification
Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
